The Story . . .
Cruise Software was founded in 1993 by Tony Harvey and a group of lumber yard owners that wanted the best technology possible to operate their stores and compete against the big boxes.
We have customers in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin..
All but a few Cruise customers have come for other computer systems. Systems like ProfitMaster, CSD, Advantage, CS-2000, and Dataline. They all understood the importance computerization early on. They also understand the importance of keeping up with technology.
We use all PC networks running Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows NT on the server. This allows for the maximum value possible for the money you have invested in a system. You can run popular estimating, kitchen cabinet design, spreadsheet, word processing, and other programs on the same computer that Cruise uses.
Since we use only laser printers you have a flexibility that is second to none. You can print bin-tags with bar-codes, estimates, sales orders, purchase orders, and informational hand-out sheets all on plain white paper.
